Player Code of Conduct

By registering in our futsal competition, I agree to the below Player Code of Conduct:

  • I will play according to the Futsal By-Laws.
  • I will refrain from swearing or using foul, abusive, or derogatory language.
  • I will not verbally abuse (language, comments and words that threaten) a player, referee, spectator or recreation centre staff member.
  • I will not argue or dispute a referee’s decision.
  • I understand that Rhodes Recreation Centre has a zero-tolerance policy on any behaviour deemed to be excessively aggressive or antisocial.
  • I understand that Rhodes Recreation Centre has a zero-tolerance policy on violent conduct.
  • I will not arrive at the Rhodes Recreation Centre under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • I will refrain from any action deemed, in the ultimate discretion of the referee or Rhodes Recreation Centre staff, to bring the game into disrepute or any other action which is not in the spirit of the game.
  • I will respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background, or religion.
  • Should a player (or team) breach the above Player Code of Conduct, the recreation centre may take whatever action necessary including but not limited to suspension of individuals and teams; individual bans or team bans; escalating the matter to Police or appropriate law enforcement bodies.
