Futsal is one of the world’s most exciting sports to play and watch. Its fast paced action and skills is an ideal way to improve a player’s football skills. In fact, it is the only form of 'indoor football/soccer' or 'five-a-side' that is officially approved by FIFA and Football Federation Australia. It's one of the fastest growing sports in the world, is played in over 100 countries and boasts millions of players worldwide.


As the futsal ball has low bounce qualities it spends much more time on the floor which is excellent for development of skills and ball control. The smaller area in which the game is played demands quick decision making, movements off the ball and intensity. Because of these characteristics, soccer coaches are starting to run Futsal sessions for juniors and even professional soccer teams.


FDLC hosts a variety of futsal competitions from men’s, women’s, mixed, junior boys and junior girls to cater to all your futsal needs.

All summer senior team nominations close on Sunday the 19th of August
 

Senior Men’s, Women's and Mixed 2018/19 Summer Season - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings

  • Summer season competitions will kick-off the week of the 27th of August 2018, and will run until February 2019.  
  • Men's competitions will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:40pm to 10:10pm.

Season match fees are to be paid upfront (before the first game): 

  • Monday (Men's DIV 1 & DIV 2) = $1,577 (includes 19 rounds with 16 minute halves)   
  • Wednesday (Men's DIV 3) = $1,743 (includes 21 rounds with 16 minute halves)   
  • Wednesday (Mixed) = $1,743 (includes 21 rounds with 16 minute halves)
  • Thursday (Women's) = $1,743 (includes 21 rounds with 16 minute halves)     
  • Player 12 month registration Fee = $80 (August 27, 2018 - August 31, 2019)
  • MONDAY - No games on Public Holidays (1/10/2018 & 28/01/2019)
  • CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR BREAK - Last rounds of the year are played on December 14th, 16th & 17th and will re-commence on the week starting January 14th, 2019.

How To Enter A Team

To enter a team please fill out the nomination form and either hand into reception or fill out, scan and send to reception@fdlc.com.au and CC sportsprograms@fdlc.com.au by the closing date - Sunday 19th August.


Team season fees to be paid as one upfront payment at reception before the start of the first game. All individual player registrations are paid through each players account, this must be completed in person at reception, as an ID photo will be attached to the players account.

 

Junior Boys 2018/19 Summer Season - Thursday and Friday Evenings

All Junior boys team nominations close on Sunday the 30th of September.

  • Season commences Thursday 11th & Friday 12th October, and will run until February 2019.  
  • Season match fees are to be paid upfront 
  • Player registration fee = $55 (October 2018 - February 2019)       
  • Four week Christmas/New Year break. Last round of 2018 played 13th & 14th of December. First round back for 2019 will be 17th & 18th of January.

Thursday Competition:             

  • Ages: Under 9s & Under 11s.  
  • Match times fall between 5:00pm and 6:30pm         
  • Season fees are $910 for 14 rounds.            

 Friday Competition:                

  • Ages: 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and under. 
  • Match times fall between 4:00pm-10pm (last game kicks off at 9.30pm)
  • Season fees are $910 for 14 rounds.
