Futsal is one of the world’s most exciting sports to play and watch. Its fast-paced action and skills is an ideal way to improve a player’s football skills. In fact, it is the only form of 'indoor football/soccer' or 'five-a-side' that is officially approved by FIFA and Football Federation Australia. It's one of the fastest growing sports in the world, is played in over 100 countries and boasts millions of players worldwide.


Due to the low bounce quality of a futsal ball, it spends much more time on the floor which is excellent for refining skills and ball control. The smaller area in which the game is played demands quick decision making, movements of the ball and intensity. For these reasons, soccer coaches are starting to run futsal sessions for juniors and even professional soccer teams.

boys and junior girls futsal to cater to all your futsal needs.

Senior Men’s, Women's and Mixed 2018/19 Summer Season

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings

  • Summer season competitions will kick-off the week of the 27 August 2018, and will run until February 2019.  
  • Player 12-month registration = $80 (27 August 2018 - 31 August 2019)
  • All Summer senior team nominations close on Sunday, 19 August 2018.
  • NO games on public holidays
    • Monday 1 October 2018
    • Monday 28 January 2019
  • Christmas/New Year Break
    • Last rounds of the year are played on 10, 12, and 13 December 2018, and will re-commence on the week starting 14 January 2019. 

Season match fees are to be paid upfront (before the first game): 

  • Monday - Men's DIV 1 and DIV 2 Competition Full
    • $1,577  (includes 19 rounds with 16-minute halves)
    • $11 per player per game, based on 8 player team (excluding rego)
    • Match times - 6:40 pm to 10:10 pm
  • Wednesday - Men's DIV 3 1 Competition Full
    • $1,743 (includes 21 rounds with 16-minute halves)
    • $11 per player per game, based on 8 player team (excluding rego)   
    • Match times - 6:40 pm to 10:10 pm
  • Wednesday - Mixed Competition Full 
    • $1,743 (includes 21 rounds with 16-minute halves)
    • $11 per player per game, based on 8 player team (excluding rego)
    • Match times - 6:40 pm to 10:10 pm

How To Enter A Team

To enter a team please fill out the nomination form and either hand into reception or fill out, scan and send to reception@fdlc.com.au and CC sportsprograms@fdlc.com.au by the closing date Sunday, 19 August 2018.


Team season fees to be paid as one upfront payment at reception before the start of the first game. All individual player registrations are paid through each players account, this must be completed in person at reception, as an ID photo will be attached to the player's account.

 

Junior Boys 2018/19 Summer Season

Thursday and Friday Evenings

  • Season commences on 18 and 19 October 2018 and will run until February 2019.  
  • Season match fees are to be paid upfront. 
  • Player registration fee = $55 (October 2018 - February 2019)
  • All junior boys team nominations close on Sunday 30 September 2018.  Extended until Sunday 7 October 2018.
  • Christmas/New Year Break
    • Last rounds of the year are played on 13 and 14 December 2018 and will re-commence on 17 and 18 January 2019. 

Season match fees are to be paid upfront (before the first game): 

  • Thursday competition -
    • Season fees: $910 for 14 rounds 
    • Ages: Under 9s and Under 11s
    • Match times: 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm     
  •  Friday Competition - 
    • Season fees: $910 for 14 rounds
    • Ages: 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and under
    • Match times: 4 pm - 10 pm (last game kicks off at 9:30 pm)            

PLEASE NOTE: Different to the outdoor winter club football competitions, our futsal competitions are designed for you to 'form and bring a team'.  If you are unable to form a team but would still like to play please send your details to sportsprorams@fdlc.com.au and we will do our best to accommodate you with any team that is in need of players.
