Futsal is one of the world’s most exciting sports to play and watch. It's one of the fastest growing sports in the world and is played in over 100 countries and boasts millions of players worldwide. In fact, it is the only form of 'indoor football/soccer' or 'five-a-side' that is officially approved by FIFA and Football Federation Australia.

Futsal is the perfect sport for football players who are looking to improve their technique and skills off-field. Due to the low bounce quality of a futsal ball, it spends much more time on the floor which is excellent for refining skills and ball control. The smaller area in which the game is played demands quick decision making, movement of the ball and intensity. For these reasons, soccer coaches are starting to run futsal sessions for juniors and even professional soccer teams.

FDLC hosts a variety of futsal competitions including men’s, women’s, mixed, junior boys and junior girls futsal to cater to all your futsal needs.

Senior Men’s and Mixed 2020 Winter Season

NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN!

Monday & Wednesday Evenings

  • Winter season competitions will kick-off on Monday 16th March (Mens) and Wednesday 18th March (Mixed) and will run through until August 2020  
  • Player 6-month individual registration = $56.50 (1 Mar 2020 - 31 August 2020) 
  • NOMINATIONS WILL CLOSE ON SUNDAY 8th MARCH
  • No games played on Public Holidays
    • Monday 13 April 2020 (Easter Monday)
    • Monday 8 June 2020 (Queen's Birthday)
  • Season match fees are to be paid in full and up-front before the first game. This amount should be paid by the team Captain who will then collect payment off his/her teammates. Part-payments/instalments will not be accepted.

Monday - Men's Divs 1, 2 & 3

  • $1,577  (includes 19 rounds with 16-minute halves)
  • $30 Team Nomination Fee (paid upon nominating a team to confirm a spot within the competiton)
  • Match times - 6:40 pm to 10:10pm
     

Wednesday Mixed 

  • $1,743 (includes 21 rounds with 16-minute halves)**
  • $30 Team Nomination Fee (paid upon nominating a team to confirm a spot within the competiton)
  • Match times - 6:40 pm to 10:10 pm

* Divisions may be combined pending on team numbers & nominations
** Competition length may change depending on number of team entries.

How To Enter A Team

To enter a team, please fill out the nomination form and either hand into reception or fill out, scan and send to reception@fdlc.com.au and CC sportsprograms@fdlc.com.au by the closing date Sunday 8th March.

Team season fees to be paid as one upfront payment at reception before the start of the first game. All individual player registrations are paid through each player's account. This must be completed in person at reception as an ID photo will be attached to the player's account.

PLEASE NOTE: Different to the outdoor winter club football competitions, our futsal competitions are designed for you to 'form and bring a team'.  If you are unable to form a team but would still like to play please send your details to sportsprograms@fdlc.com.au and we will do our best to accommodate you with any team that is in need of players.


Junior Boys 2019/20 Summer Futsal Season

Thursday and Friday Evenings

  • Season commences on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 October 2019 and will run until February 2020
  • Season match fees are to be paid upfront, before the first game
  • Player registration fee = $56.50 (October 2019 - February 2020)
  • All Junior Boys team nominations are CLOSED
  • Christmas/New Year Break
    • Last rounds of the year are played on 12 and 13 December 2019 and the season will then re-commence on 23 and 24 January 2020. 

Thursday Competition*

  • Season fees: $910 for 14 rounds
  • $9 per player per game, based on 8 player team (excluding rego)
  • Ages: Under 11s
  • Match times: 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
     

 Friday Competition

  • Season fees: $910 for 14 rounds
  • $9 per player per game, based on 8 player team (excluding rego)
  • Ages: 13s, 14s, 15s, 16s, 17s and under
  • Match times: 5pm - 10pm (last game kicks off at 9:30 pm)
  • Age groups may be combined pending on the number of teams nominated.

CASUAL FUTSAL COURT HIRE

The Futsal courts are available for casual hire at the following rates:

  • Monday to Friday: $75 per hour; $51 per hour off-peak (Mon-Fri 5:30am - 9:00am)
