The National Heart Foundations - Heartmoves Program

What is Heartmoves?
Heart Foundation Heartmoves is a gentle physical activity program suitable for anyone who hasn't done any exercise in a while. You can exercise at your own pace, in a friendly atmosphere.
Heartmoves is open to everyone and is designed to be safe for people stable long term health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes or obesity. The program is run by accredited exercise professionals specifically trained in managing safe, low to moderate intensiy physical activity programs.
Our Program is a safe and quality controlled strength training, and aerobic training program for people over 50 years to build muscle mass and increase bone density as well as improve strength, balance, gait, flexibility and coordination.
Taking part in regular exercise sessions can help:
- Lower blood pressure
- Improve cholesterol control
- Manage weight
- Improve well being and quality of life
- Manage Diabetes
- Improve balance and flexibility
- Improve sleeping patterns
The program is run from Monday – Friday between at 11:30am, and lasts for 60 minutes. Enjoy classes, circuit training and a social atmosphere. To find out more, contact us!
