Personal training has come a long way in the last 10-15 years. As the fitness industry continues to boom, a growth in science and specialisation has been able to take personal training from a muscle building or weight loss service, to a place where complex goals are being discussed and achieved by people of all ages and fitness levels. Beginners are seeing the benefit in taking the time to learn correct technique with a PT from the outset of their introduction to the gym. If you are going to start, it is a good idea to get it right the first time. We see experienced gym goers seeing a trainer once or twice a week because after years of coming to the gym they are passionate and highly capable, but find satisfaction in continuing to challenge themselves and achieve things they had initially thought impossible.
